That’s what The Passage is here to support.

 

What is The Passage?

The Passage is an intimate class for pregnant women who want to prepare for birth without fear, without pressure, and without losing themselves in the process. It’s part education, part emotional support, part grounding reminder that:

  • Your body knows what to do
  • Your mind needs safety, not control
  • Motherhood is not the end of you, it’s a return to who you are

It’s a space to slow down, ask questions, breathe, connect, and feel held.

We meet live on Zoom for 90 minutes each week. All sessions are recorded for you to refer back to at any time.

Partners are welcome because birth doesn’t happen in isolation. 

 When partners understand:

  • Their role and responsibilities as they transition into fatherhood 
  • What helps (and what doesn’t) during labor
  • The physical and emotional shifts that happen after birth

Everything feels steadier. 

This class helps you feel like a team, not like one person is carrying it all.

For the Partners: You don’t have to be a medical expert to be the perfect birth partner. In The Passage, I give you a specific "playbook" so you know exactly what to do, what to say, and how to hold the space when things get intense. You’ll move from being a "bystander" to being her greatest source of safety.

Week 1: Preparing for Birth (Mind & Body)

  • Gentle HypnoBirthing techniques to calm the nervous system

  •  Breathing and relaxation tools you can actually use in labor

  • Understanding how fear affects birth, and how to soften it

Week 2: Creating a Birth Plan That Feels Like You

  • How to make informed choices without feeling overwhelmed
  • Clarifying what matters most to you
  • Holding flexibility without losing your voice

Week 3: Connection & Bonding

  • Prenatal bonding with your baby
  • How to stay emotionally connected to your partner during and after birth
  • Creating safety and teamwork instead of pressure

Week 4: The Rebirth After Birth

This part matters just as much.

We’ll talk honestly about:

  • The identity shift after a baby is born
  • Why mothers don’t “lose themselves” - they find themselves
  • How to care for yourself emotionally in the postpartum season
  • Making space for who you’re becoming, not rushing back to who you were

A Note From Me

Before I became a mother, I was honestly terrified of childbirth.

I didn’t grow up seeing calm or empowering birth stories, and like so many women, most of what I absorbed was fear-based. I worried about pain, losing control, and not knowing how I’d handle it all.

I’ve since had three vaginal births - one in a hospital and two water births - and I prepared for each of them using HypnoBirthing techniques and natural induction remedies.

What changed everything for me wasn’t trying to be “brave” or fearless. It was learning how to calm my nervous system, trust my body, understand what was happening instead of fighting it, and feel supported emotionally and mentally going into birth.

That preparation didn’t just change my birth experiences, it changed how I stepped into motherhood.

 The Passage is shaped by both my personal birth experiences and the many women I’ve supported over the years. It’s the class I wish I had when I was pregnant and afraid - steady, reassuring, and deeply human.

I’ve worked with so many mothers over the years, and one truth keeps coming back - motherhood doesn’t take anything away from you, it reveals who you are.
